Potomac Analysis Corporation (PAC) is a small veteran-owned company founded in 2004 which primarily conducts modeling, simulation, and analysis for the Office of the Secretary of Defense. We have extensive experience in analyzing transportation and logistics issues. We have been the lead analysts for the last five major DoD mobility studies (MRS-05, MCS, Mobility Capabilities and Requirements Study (MCRS-16), Mobility Capability Assessment (MCA-18, and MCRS-20). As part of these studies, we conducted analyses to determine the amount of strategic and tactical airlift/sealift required to execute our National Strategy. While completing these efforts, we have developed numerous data structures, data manipulation routines, and innovative methods to use the tools available to answer different and emerging questions. Our team has addressed complex mobility analytical efforts, data-mined very large data sets, and developed unique ArcGIS geospatial techniques to depict various programmatic and operational scenarios.
Our team of mobility and systems analysts are all highly trained with many years of experience in supporting analyses in coordination with the United States Transportation Command (TRANSCOM) and the Joint Staff Logistics Directorate (CJCS J4). Our personnel are experts in modeling a broad spectrum of joint service mobility issues from mobility force mix and structure analysis to theater logistics requirements. We are recognized experts in the use of several highly specialized mobility modeling
simulation packages such as the Analysis of Mobility Platform (AMP), the Aerial Refueling Model (ARM) and the Replenishment at Sea Planner (RASP).
Potomac Analysis also serves as a subcontractor vehicle for individual retired military personnel working for prime defense contractors. This arrangement leverages your retired military benefits to restructure the typical compensation package, resulting in both increased take-home salary and tax-deferred compensation.
